A 35-year-old man facing two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide has been bound over for trial in Winnebago County. Investigators say Jesse McComb stabbed two people July 1st when he tried to buy a cigarette from one of them outside a bar. When Mark Haima refused, witnesses say McComb stabbed Haima three times. He also stabbed Michelle Gebauer before another bar customer knocked him out, stopping the attack. Haima and Gebauer survived. McComb is scheduled to enter a plea September 7th.
