A $200 million infusion into helping Wisconsin citizens deal with ever-increasing healthcare costs has been given “the go-ahead” from Washington D.C. During a recent visit to Manitowoc Tool and Machining, Governor Scott Walker stated that “Obama Care” or the Affordable Care Act has been a total failure.
Walker adds that although it’s not a “total fix” it’s a start to ease the financial burden of “hard working Wisconsinites.”
The Health Care Stability Plan will lower premiums by double digits to those who seek coverage through the individual market and includes obtaining a permanent waiver for SeniorCare that helps certain residents age 65 or better with their drug care costs.
