Sheboygan County Deputies were kept busy Tuesday afternoon, responding to two separate crashes only two hours apart. The first took place near the intersection of Highway 32 and County Road V near Gibbsville at around 2:30 PM. Sheriff’s reports indicate that a driver stopped on V and attempted to cross 32, but was plowed into by another vehicle. The first vehicle flipped onto its roof, injuring the driver. The driver was taken to a local hospital, and cited for failing to yield at a stop sign.
Then two hours later, another crash occurred at Playbird Road and County Road DL in the Town of Sheboygan. A driver was attempting to pull into a driveway, but inadvertently did so in the path of an oncoming vehicle. The driver of the oncoming vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries, while the first driver got a ticket for inattentive driving.
