The Douglas County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing the details of a fight involving two city council members for the possible filing of charges. Superior police arrested a construction manager and a union official in the incident which happened at a bar in Billings Park. Witnesses say the union business managed shoved Councilor Craig Sutherland through a railing which broke and punched Council President Keith Kern in the face. The two suspects haven’t been named because they haven’t been charged. They had addressed the city council last year, trying to convince the members to adopt a responsible bidders ordinance. Kern said the two were causing a disturbance in the bar. He said he was punched in the face as he was walking them out.
