A Madison-based special interest group has admitted that it got caught lying in an attack ad on State Senate candidate and 2nd Assembly District State Representative Andre Jacque during the campaign for the election back in April. That same lie, which was in regards to Jacque’s record of promoting clean water, was used again in the ads run by both the Wisconsin Democratic Party, and Jacque’s opponent. Several former members of government, both at the state and local levels have jumped to Jacque’s side, with Former Kewaunee County Board Chairman Ron Heuer stating, “This ad showed that they can’t be trusted and would rather sell out their integrity for political gains.” Some members of the Democratic Party actually praised Jacque for his work on helping the area’s wetlands.
