La Crosse police have arrested a 24-year-old suspect in the Sunday shooting which left two people wounded. Isaiah Stenson Junior of La Crosse faces several charges, including first-degree recklessly endangering safety. The incident happened shortly after midnight in the downtown area. Two people suffering gunshot wounds were treated and released at Gundersen Health System. Less than two hours after the shooting, police stopped a suspect vehicle which had been seen on the city’s Safe-Cam system and took Stenson into custody. He returns to La Crosse County Circuit Court tomorrow (Wednesday) for the reading of formal charges.
