Milwaukee has reached an agreement with Bird Rides, Incorporated, to get its scooters off city streets. Bird says the scooters will return when regulations are in place. The company has been involved in a dispute with Milwaukee city officials for several weeks. There is no current timetable for their return. Milwaukee sued Bird Rides last month when the California-based company ignored a cease-and-desist order. Bird removed the scooters Monday. It operates in about 30 cities nationwide, but it had removed the scooters in Denver and Salt Lake City until a plan was worked out for their return.
