Green Bay Man Dies in Shawano Car Crash

A Green Bay man has died following a car accident in Shawano yesterday. According to a WisDOT report, the State Patrol responded to the crash at around 4:00 PM, at the intersection of Highway 29 and County Road U in the Town of Herman, just west of Shawano. A vehicle began to make its way through the intersection, when it was struck by a second vehicle, driven by the 88 year old Green Bay man. He was killed, while his passenger was taken to the hospital along with the 21 year old female driver of the first vehicle. The Shawano native was taken to Theda Care for non-life threatening injuries.
