Quality Roasting will soon begin processing soybean oil at their facility on Marken Road in Valders. They celebrated the expansion this yesterday with a ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by a tour of the new building. Jim Fitzgerald, one of the four owners of the company, spoke with us about how they grew to the point they are at now.

With the new facility, Quality Roasting will be able to take the crude soybean oil, and refine it into oil that will be shipped to bottlers. Erin Davis, daughter of the third of the four owners, Dr. Lynn Davis, explains that process.
Adding this new process created eight new jobs, for both day and night shifts, as they would like to keep the plant running 24/7.The new facility is still under construction, and is expected to be completed by the end of August.
