A worker at a store on Madison’s State Street says he was threatened by a man with a knife Sunday afternoon. The suspect faces a tentative charge of disorderly conduct while armed. That employee says he asked 61-year-old Ronald Duell to move after he found him lying on the sidewalk in front of the Stop and Shop Grocery. He says Duell was quiet at first, then pulled out a knife and extended the blade. The 18-year-old worker went back inside and grabbed a baseball bat to defend himself. When he looked outside, police were already talking to the homeless man.
