Authorities say an Illinois car salesman went to great lengths to watch the Arizona Wildcats play college basketball last winter. Investigators say Kevin Cayton made 11 calls pretending to be a restaurant employee when he phoned the cable television provider Charter Spectrum. He was trying to change the cable deal at Buffalo Phil’s restaurant in Lake Delton so he could watch the games while vacationing there. A months long investigation began after a manager of the restaurant discovered a spike in cable charges. If convicted of two felony charges, including identity theft, Cayton could be sentenced to 12 years in prison. Cayton appears in Sauk County Circuit Court today (Tuesday).
