Defense attorneys for Samy Hamzeh say the Milwaukee man was only trying to buy a legal handgun to protect himself. Federal prosecutors say he was plotting to kill at least 30 people. A federal judge has ordered that Hamzeh be released from jail until his trial starts August 21st. He will be confined to his home and must wear a G-P-S monitoring device. Hamzeh was arrested two years ago for possessing a machine gun and a silencer. He bought them from undercover F-B-I agents.
