Heart-A-Rama, the local annual comedy variety show, raised nearly $86,000 this year. In a news release it was announced that $85,914 was raised during this year’s show, and $77,323 went to the American Heart Association midwest affiliate. The remainder of the money will go to provide AED devices to local non-profits. Now in its 48th year, Heart-A-Rama has raised a total of over $2.8 million to help fund research against heart disease.
Heart-A-Rama is held annually at the Community House in Two Rivers. It is a variety show with a number of skits and musical performances lampooning local events.
