No candidate has an apparent advantage in the Republican race for the U-S Senate. Wednesday’s Marquette University Law School poll shows State Senator Leah Vukmir with 34-percent support and Delafield businessman Kevin Nicholson with 32-percent. The survey has a seven-percent margin of error. The problem for both Vukmir and Nicholson is lack of name recognition. Thirty-percent of the potential voters contacted said they haven’t made up their minds. Nicholson had a nine-point lead over Vukmir in March and a five-point edge last month. That has the Vukmire camp saying momentum is on her side for the August 14th primary.
