Emergency medical treatment for a three-year-old boy — riding in a car with his parents when it hit a tree — may have been delayed by up to 13 minutes. The first emergency call came in at about 5:50 A-M Sunday. Initially, it was thought the child was sleeping and most of the attention was given to his father, who had suffered obvious injuries. Thirteen minutes later a deputy called for a supervisor to come to the scene in Pewaukee. The boy was pronounced dead at the hospital.
