Milwaukee Daycare Worker Charged With Felony Child Neglect

Prosecutors say a daycare worker was responsible for an eight-month-old boy when he was left alone and badly beaten by another child.  The incident happened earlier this month at Harvest Learning Center in Milwaukee.  Investigators say 62-year-old Catherine Junior had left the room when the 11-year-old picked the infant up, dropped him and ripped out some of his hair.  Junior told police she left the five children alone for just three-to-five minutes.  A seven-year-old who was present said the older child “stomped the baby” because they were told to put their toys away.
