A Wisconsin man is going to prison for nine years after being convicted of gun and drug charges. Thirty-seven-year-old Adam Radek of Tomah was shot by a Wausau police officer in August 2015 while he tried to hide behind a washing machine in a basement. The Marathon County district attorney ruled the shooting was justified because the officer heard the sound of a gun being loaded. Radek was suspected of burglary at the time. Officials say his conviction resolved three open cases. He will be given credit for the nearly three years he has already spent in jail.
