A La Crosse man is hospitalized in critical condition after attacking his girlfriend early Sunday. He is expected to face domestic assault charges when he gets out. Police say the 32-year-old suspect strangled and punched the victim at about 3:40 A-M. When she ran outside to her car to get away, he pounded on her window and then jumped on the hood of the moving vehicle. No names have been released. Police say he was hurt when he fell off after she hit the brakes.
