A spokesman for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is downplaying a photo showing him with a woman who has been charged with being a Russian agent. Walker’s campaign office says there were thousands of people at the convention where the photo was taken. Maria Butina was arrested by federal agents Monday and charged with conspiracy to act as an unregistered agent of the Russian government. She is accused of trying to infiltrate American political organizations like the N-R-A. She attended Walker’s presidential campaign launch event in 2015 and posted the picture being questioned.
