Foxconn Announcement Expected Monday In Eau Claire

Foxconn Technology Group, Governor Scott Walker and other top officials have scheduled a news conference in Eau Claire today (Monday) for a “major economic announcement.”  The Taiwan-based corporation, already planning a 10-billion dollar manufacturing facility in Racine County, is expected to reveal plans for a facility of some sort in Eau Claire’s downtown area.  Foxconn has already announced plans for an innovation center with more than 200 workers located in downtown Green Bay.
