Hot and humid conditions hampered emergency personnel Thursday afternoon as they battled a Fire at Hamilton Gates apartments in Green Bay. The fire was described as one of the worst Green bay has seen in years and took several hours for firefighters to control. The 24-unit building sustained an estimated half million dollars in damage. 8 of the 24 units were a complete loss. The Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the fire, all resident were evacuated safely and are being helped by the American Red Cross.
