Two Manitowoc men arrested last evening on drug related charges had bail hearings this afternoon in Manitowoc County Circuit Court. 28-year-old Jonathan S. Debauch is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. 34-year-old Michael W. Sittman is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and four counts of possession of a non-scheduled drug.
A Manitowoc Police Officer was on a routine patrol on Memorial Drive around 8 p.m. when he spotted a vehicle that matched the description belonging to Sittman who had a warrant out for his arrest. He admitted to having a marijuana pipe along with needles used to ingest illegal drugs. A search of the vehicle also revealed a vial containing small white crystals and other drug paraphernalia.
A female passenger identified as 24-year-old Danielle Steltz of Manitowoc was taken into custody by the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s office where she had an active warrant out for her arrest.
Conditions of bail for both Debauch and Sittman are that they have no contact with each other, Steltz or any known drug dealers or users, maintain absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol and report to the police department for photos and prints. Debauch remains in the county jail in lieu of $500 cash with an initial appearance scheduled for July 16th. Sittman is free on a $2,500 recognizance bond and his initial appearance is set for July 24th.
