A former small-town police chief in western Wisconsin will spend two months in jail after reaching a plea agreement. Grant Pickard was accused of having sexual contact with a female officer, including inappropriate touching and texting. The officer was under his supervision in the Clayton Police Department. Pickard pleaded no contest to misdemeanor lewd and lascivious behavior and sending a threatening or obscene computer message in Polk County Circuit Court. Seven other charges were dismissed, including felony sexual assault and misconduct in office.
