A Monday afternoon fire at a furniture factory in Lake Delton drew firefighting crews from 11 departments. The fire was in a dust collector at Waterman Log Crafters. The approach taken by the 65 firefighters who responded to the scene was a cautious one due to the threat of an explosion. Fire and smoke were pouring out of the machine used to manufacture logs for the furniture produced there. Four ambulances were also on the scene due to the explosion threat. No injuries were reported and the fire was put out. An official damage estimate hasn’t been released.
