An airplane had to make an emergency landing in a field on Saturday. The Sheboygan County Emergency Dispatch Center received the report of the landing just before 8:00 PM, specifying that the plane landed in a field south of County Highway FF and west of State Highway 32 in the Town of Herman. According to a news release by Sargent Brad Jorsch, the privately owned aircraft was flying from Washington Island to Sheboygan County, when it lost power, prompting the landing. There were no injuries reported to neither the pilot nor the lone passenger, and the aircraft remains undamaged. The individuals in the plane are not being identified at this time.
