A Portage County judge has sentenced a Tigerton woman to a 15-year prison term after she pleaded guilty to a charge of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle. Thirty-year-old Billie Jo McSherry entered her plea in April. She was driving drunk when she caused a crash that killed 48-year-old Robert Korhonen of Antigo and seriously injured his 25-year-old daughter, Stacey Zarda. Judy Korhonen says her daughter spent two months in a hospital but has recovered from her physical injuries. She says the daughter is still having mental issues.
