A new agriculture education center in southern Manitowoc County will be opening to the public on Saturday, July 28th. The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center will be hosting a 2 day grand opening weekend. The center will be open only to Farm Wisconsin members on Saturday & Sunday from 9 to noon, and then open to the public from noon to 6. There will be a charge for tickets and grand opening prices are: Adults $12, Youth $6. Activities planned include face painting, games, baby calves, and self-guided tours of interactive exhibits. The first 100 families each day will receive a free gift and the first 200 visitors each day will receive a ticket for free ice cream courtesy of the Farm Families of Manitowoc County. The center is located off interstate 43 between Clover and Newton at 7001 Gass Lake Road.
