A big talking point throughout the state right now is the pros and cons to the Foxconn expansion. 25th District State Assembly Representative Paul Tittl had a few words to say about the project when he attended a press conference in Green Bay. The conference was held to address Foxconn’s announced expansion of their Wisconn Valley Innovation Network by purchasing a six-story building in Green Bay. Tittl was happy with the announcement saying, “Today’s exciting news is an example of how the Foxconn network is creating opportunities throughout Wisconsin.” He went on to say “Wisconsin continues to head in the right direction. I am pleased to see Foxconn creating economic opportunities for people in northeast Wisconsin and across our great state.” Foxconn broke ground on its $10 billion advanced manufacturing campus in Racine County on Thursday last week, which is expected to create up to 13,000 direct jobs, 22,000 indirect jobs, and another 10,000 construction jobs annually.
