There will be a pair of meetings in Council Chambers at Manitowoc’s City Hall this evening. The Personnel Committee will start the night off at 5:15 PM. They will be talking about how the Personnel Standing Committee intends to address District 10 concerns about Alderperson Rhieanna Gabriel. They will then enter a closed session to conduct contract negotiations with the Manitowoc Professional Firefighters International Association of Firefighters. The Finance Committee will then begin their gathering at 6:00 PM. They will be taking a look at some programs to improve the housing stock within the city, and will look at an unbudgeted request to fund a replacement for the I-43/Rapids Road intersection with a signal upgrade, with an estimated cost of $500,000.
