A man was arrested in Green Bay late last week, when he was seen peeking under the stalls of a women’s bathroom. Officers responded to the report at 5:00 PM on Thursday, and during their investigation, learned that the man, later identified as 60 year old Green Bay resident Richard Schwantes, followed a 13 year old girl into the restroom. According to a news release, the girl tried to close the bathroom stall to prevent Schwantes from coming in, but as the female tried to prevent the door from being opened, Schwantes tried to reach underneath the door to unlock it. Another female who was in the restroom heard the commotion and came to the aid of the 13 year old girl. Schwantes was pushed out of the bathroom and turned over to the staff of the business until officers arrived. Schwantes is now facing charges of Child Enticement,-felony, Disorderly conduct, and Bail Jumping.
