A fire at a Two Rivers residence resulted in $120,000 in damage on Friday. The Two Rivers Fire Department received word of the blaze on the 2600 block of 9th Street at around 6:00 PM by a neighbor. When Engine 10 arrived at the scene, crews found the inferno had begun in the garage of the structure. They, along with Mishicot Fire and EMS, and Manitowoc Fire personnel battled the blaze for about an hour, and remained on the scene for another hour. According to release from the TRFD, the structure and all constants were destroyed, with both neighboring houses and garages receiving damage from the heat emitted. No one was home at the time, and no firefighters were injured battling the blaze. The cause remains under investigation.
