A Somerset man returns to court in September to be sentenced for building a pipe bomb in his home. St. Croix County deputies had gone to David Lee Johnson’s home to inform him about a death in his family. A deputy says he saw the device while they were talking. Johnson reportedly admitted he had made the pipe bomb, saying he was afraid people were out to hurt him. Johnson has already been sentenced to six months in jail for marijuana possession. He could receive up to six more years behind bars.
