Accused Killer Says Co-Defendant Did The Crime

An attorney for accused killer Jesse Lloyd says the other person on trial for the 2016 shooting death of Kenneth Patterson is one who did it. The trial for Jesse Lloyd is scheduled to start in October. Chippewa County investigators say Patterson’s body was found on the front lawn of a home near Lake Wissota. Lloyd’s lawyer says Matthew Labrec was the killer. Labrec is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after entering a guilty plea to reduced charges. Labrec told police Lloyd killed Patterson.
