Manitowoc Man Asking For Help Finding His Stolen Car

A Manitowoc man is asking for help finding his stolen car. Derek Felber has made a hobby out of restoring classic cars, with his latest project being a 1970 Mercury Marquis Country Esquire Colony Park station Wagon. Felber had the brown and yellow vehicle parked at Thompson Machinery Moving on Tuesday evening, when, according to Felber, someone pulled up in a tow truck and stole it. He has made contact with the Manitowoc Police Department, who are working with businesses in the area to sift through security footage; in hopes any clues can be found. Felber stated that the vehicle is flagged, cannot be registered, and all auto stores in the city are aware of the theft. Felber says he paid $4,000 for the car, but says after he was done with the restoration; it could be worth up to $25,000.
