Sister Hembrecht Appointed VP of Mission Integration at SLC

Silver Lake College of the Holy Family has named Sister Louise Hembrecht vice president of mission integration. During the 2017-18 academic year, Sister Hembrecht served as assistant director of mission under Sister Lorita Gaffney, who has been assigned to serve in Yuma, Arizona. Sister Hembrecht will continue to coordinate mission activities with the lay employees at Holy Family Convent and serve as representative for Diocese of Green Bay religious community members. She spoke about what the plans are for the Catholic work college, saying “We plan to continue deepening the college’s Catholic identity by encouraging the development of missionary discipleship built on a deep personal faith relationship with Jesus and generous servant leadership by all who work and study at the college.” Sister Hembrecht earned her bachelor’s degree from Silver Lake College.
