A Campbellsport man finds himself facing a felony charge after he led police on a high speed chase over the weekend. 22 year old Wyatt Gessner tore through the southern part of Sheboygan County, leading a Count Deputy down several rural roads, reaching speeds of up to 115 miles per hour. The chase ended when Gessner crashed in a field, his car bursting into flame. Charges include felony attempting to flee or elude an officer and a misdemeanor for first-offense operating with a revoked license. If convicted on the felony, Gessner could face up to 1-1/2 years in prison and up to 2 years on extended supervision, along with as much as a $10,000 fine.
