Milwaukee Man Accused Of Hitting Officer While Driving Stolen Car

Glendale police have arrested an 18-year-old Milwaukee man, accusing him of being behind the wheel of a stolen car which hit and injured an officer last weekend.  The driver was trying to get away from police in Whitefish Bay after being involved in a hit-and-run accident shortly after 2:40 A-M Saturday.  Glendale officers were trying to stop the vehicle by deploying a tire deflation device.  The suspect swerved at the intersection, crossed several lanes of the highway and hit the officer.  The suspect hasn’t been named.  The officer suffered minor injuries, was treated and released from a nearby hospital.
