A rally in support of immigrant families was held over the weekend at a farmers’ market in Appleton. Television station W-B-A-Y reports that the Stand Together for Our Immigrant Families Rally gathered at the Houdini Plaza in Appleton during Saturday morning’s farmer’s market. Organizers say they hoped people passing by would acknowledge the plight many immigrant families go through. Next weekend activists will be holding hundreds of rallies across the country. Organizers say in Wisconsin rallies are scheduled to be held on the 30th in Appleton at the Houdini Plaza at 1 P-M, in Oshkosh at the Main Street Sundial at 11 A-M and in Green Bay at the South Green Bay CityDeck at 10 A-M.
