The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is revving up for this year’s edition of SubFest, and have added a new event to this year’s activities. The event is entitled S.U.P for the Sub, and will be a stand up paddleboard and kayak fun race, with all proceeds benefiting the main attraction at the museum, the USS Cobia. SubFest is scheduled for July 13-15th, with the race scheduled for the 14th. The race will begin at 1:00 PM, and will consist of two heats, one for paddleboards and one for kayaks. Registration forms can be found at www.wisconsinmaritime.org, and can be sent in to the museum in advance. Race-day registration will also be available 11:00am-12:30pm on the south bank of the Manitowoc River, across from the museum. Entries received by July 11 are $10 for students (college included) and $15 for adults. Both include a SubFest t-shirt. Race day fees are $12 student, $18 adult with t-shirts while available.
