Racine County Jail Inmate Accused Of Brutal Attack Behind Bars

Three felony charges have been filed against an inmate in the Racine County Jail in an attack which happened last weekend. The 63-year-old victim was found covered in blood in the jail’s day room, shaking violently and unable to speak coherently. It isn’t known what led up to the attack. Witnesses report seeing 50-year-old Jeffrey S. Green standing over the victim. The deputy who responded said he couldn’t see the older man’s pupil through all of the blood on his face. The inmate was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.
