Bail was set at $1,500 cash for a 25-year-old Manitowoc woman facing multiple charges in connection to an incident that took place last night in a city store parking lot. Cheyenne L. Yauch is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a non-scheduled drug, felony bail jumping and two misdemeanor counts of bail jumping.
Police responded to a call from a passerby for possible drug activity taking place inside a vehicle in the 4100 block of Calumet Avenue. A woman later identified as Yauch along with two men and a dog, plus drugs and drug paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle. A subsequent search of Yauch’s purse revealed several items including a large knife, a pair of metal knuckles, drugs, pills, a hypodermic needle and a digital scale disguised as a computer mouse.
Conditions of bail are that Yauch have no contact with the male acquaintances in the vehicle, maintain absolute sobriety and not to possess any weapon, controlled substance or drug paraphernalia.
She remains in the Manitowoc County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for July 2nd at 2:30.
