Madison Police Arrest 3 On Drug, Gun Charges

Madison police say officers originally responded Tuesday evening to a call about a person waving a rifle around.  A witness told officers there was a group of people standing outside two parked cars and one of them was showing the weapon to others in the group.  Arriving officers reported a strong smell of marijuana smoke as they arrived.  They arrested three men in their early 20s on drug and gun charges.  Investigators say they were told several different stories about how the people got the drugs and rifle.
