We spoke with Two Rivers City Manager Greg Buckley about what was actually happening at Neshotah Beach.
Buckley told us when he receives those statistics, he will be sharing them with us.
As far as the status of the extremely popular beach.
Another reason to stay out of the water today, the National Weather Service has issued a beach hazard statement which will last from noon today through this evening. High wave action and strong currents are expected which will cause dangerous swimming conditions. This Notice is in effect for all beaches in Manitowoc County.
A few precautions from the Two Rivers Parks and Rec. Department to help protect your health and safety at the beach:
- Don’t swallow lake water
- Shower after swimming
- Wash hands before eating
- Pay attention and follow advisory signs
