A federal judge has sentenced a Kaukauna woman to 13 months in prison for stealing nearly 99-thousand dollars from a union. Fifty-nine-year-old Cheryl A. Angell took the money from United Steelworkers Local Two over a four-year period. The U-S Department of Labor investigated the case. Angell served as the union’s treasurer. She admitted she wrote more than 100 checks to herself, used a union credit card to cover personal expenses while depositing union checks into her personal account. She will be on supervised release for three years.
