***UPDATE*** June 20-June 21, 2018 Neshotah Beach is Open Swim Advisory has been issued due to elevated levels of E. coli.
Those who were planning to visit Neshotah Beach over the weekend, may have to postpone those plans for a while. The Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department announced on Facebook yesterday that the beach is closed due to high levels of E. coli. Some strands of E. coli are harmless but others can cause varying levels of diarrhea. It is unknown at this time how long the closure will be in effect. As of now there is no additional information available, but we will be sure to pass along any information as soon as it becomes available.
