Officials with the Chippewa Falls Police Department say they get frequent calls about feral cats. A public meeting was held about the problem last night. Police say if a feral cat is causing problems, residents should trap it, call the police and the humane society will be summoned. The feral cats have been attacking domestic cats and other pets, leaving waste around the city and causing problems. Several potential solutions were discussed at last night’s (Tuesday’s) meeting, but no final action plan has been made yet.
