Admitted Arsonist Given 20-Year Prison Sentence

Her crime was caught on video.  Now, 39-year-old Java Wright is going to prison.  The Milwaukee woman admitted starting the fire which killed 72-year-old Willie Greer last year.  The video shows Wright pouring gasoline into a home before flames started shooting out of a window.  Greer’s body was found in a bedroom by firefighters.  Wright told investigators a man she was dating lived in the lower until of the building.  They had fought and she said she started the fire as retribution. When officers approached Wright on the street after the fire she reportedly admitted setting it and had a lighter in her pocket.
