Yesterday we learned about some of the statistics surrounding suicide, and today we will hear the story of Morgan Daly, and his mother, Shanen. Morgan was a student at Valders High School, when he decided to join the Marine Corps, a decision that Shanen says changed his mentality.

Shanen was not the only person to notice a change in Morgan.

One thing that had not changed in Morgan was how much he cared for his family, as was proven by his final act.

I would tell whomever that when you are ready and able to, to share everything and anything about your loved one. Share their stories, who they were, good & bad. Do something in honor of your loved one. Plant a tree, make a garden, participate in related events, create Memorials, become involved in suicide awareness/prevention. Speak up. Never quit.
