Last Night the Manitowoc Common Council approved a 60-day extension for starting construction and renovation to the historic Schuette Building.
Mayor Justin Nickels.
Nickels says approval came amid some disdain.
The first floor will consist of commercial and retail enterprises while the second and third floors will be renovated into 17 apartments. Construction that was set to begin June 30th has been pushed back to August 30th with completion anticipated to be sometime next year.
