Driver Who Ran From Crash Scene Arrested For 6th OWI Offense

Deputies with the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office say a driver ran from the scene when he wrecked his vehicle in the town of Delton Wednesday night.  A 9-1-1 caller had reported a rollover accident at about 10:45 P-M.  Deputies tracked 39-year-old Timothy Corning to a nearby residence.  He’s being held in the Sauk County Jail on tentative charges of O-W-I, sixth offense, driving too fast for conditions, no vehicle registration and displaying a false vehicle registration plate.
